Meet Our Team
The Meads Management Group has been set up as a non-profit, committee run organisation. Our Management Committee is run by a team of Volunteers and is made up of Parents/Carers in the local community. We have a Chair, Vice Chair, Treasurer, Secretary, and Parent Users. Each member brings their own experiences and knowledge from varied backgrounds.
Within our setting, we have a Manager, and an Admin Assistant within the office. In our Breakfast, Afterschool, and Holiday Club we have a Deputy Manager for Play, Playleaders,and Trainee Playleaders. In our Pre-Nursery we have a Pre-Nursery Leader, Assistant Pre-Nursery Leader, and Nursery Assistants.

Typically we work above the required adult to child ratio in our sessions and ensure that sufficiently trained staff are present at all times.
All of our staff are Safeguarding Trained. We are always updating our training for staff and aim to have all of our staff First Aid, Food Hygiene, and Health & Safety Trained.

Rosa - Manager for The Meads Management Group
I have a background in business and re-trained in childcare in 2006. I have worked at The Meads since 2002, starting as Breakfast Assistant, then moving into the Afterschool and Holiday Club, before moving into the Office and becoming Manager.
In my spare time I enjoy running and walking my dog. I also regularly attend fitness classes with my friends throughout the week.
Jess - Administrator
I started at The Meads as a Volunteer Playleader in 2010, and progressed into paid work. I have lots of experience in childcare and admin from previous job roles. I have worked across Breakfast Club, Afterschool Club, Holiday Club, and even The Meadows over this time, before moving into the office and becoming an Admin Assistant. I am currently studying at University alongside working at The Meads.
I like to keep busy and in my spare time enjoy going to the gym and spending time with my friends and family.

We are currently recruiting for the following job roles:
Playleaders - Part-Time (Qualified Level 2, 3, or Higher)
Breakfast Club Assistants (Term-Time Only, Part-Time)
Our Playleader Roles are part-time with the option of being term-time only, or full year (including school holidays). We are currently looking for people with Level 2, Level 3, or Higher relevant qualifications to work in our Breakfast Club and Afterschool Club five days per week, or a combination of days (minimum 3 days per week).
