Meadows Fine Motor Skills

4/26/2018

We have been practising our fine motor movements to help us to hold a pencil. We have been using white boards, frozen paint and ice, and peg boards. We also went on the Timber Trail for a treat in the sunshine and to practice our gross motor skills.

Meadows Dinosaur Discovery

4/26/2018

This week we have been talking about dinosaurs and discovered a dinosaur footprint! We did some investigating and we think it belongs to a pterodactyl. We thought of some sounds that the pterodactyl might have made and used our excellent cutting skills to make dinosaur masks to help us when using our imagination.

Easter Holidays / Update

4/17/2018

Hi Everyone,

We're sorry that we've been a bit rubbish at updates recently! We have been extremely busy over the Easter Holidays with lots of fun activities we have been keeping us occupied. As well as this we have had issues with internet access, but hopefully this is now sorted!

For more updates and photos from the Easter Holidays, please head over to our Facebook Page. We have made a whole photo album just with photos from this holiday alone - we've been colouring, painting, cutting, sticking, building, playing, and much more!

Following the huge amount of fun that we had, the booking forms for May Half Term are now available to download from our website, or can be requested from The Meads Office directly. The theme for May Half Term will be 'Construction'. To request a copy, please call: 01992 582055, or email: meads@millmead.herts.sch.uk

We look forward to seeing lots of you there!
